OHHHHHH Boy....Didn't mean to start this....

WELP....I started a war....SMH

All I did was say "Hey I found your art on youtube combined with a Flying lotus track SUPER DUPER DOPE"

Here are the details

I was jamming to a Flying Lotus track called "Golden Diva" and it had THIS AMAZING PIECE OF WORK HERE

and I felt that this artist named should know that her piece got to be seen while a Flying Lotus track was being played.

This was her response

"I did not give that person permission to use my artwork for their video. This is incredibly disrespectful to me as the original artist and creator behind this picture. If you wanna show your appreciation to my art, report the video. Because that is not okay and it motivates me to remove this painting from my gallery permanently."

My first thought was "SERIOUSLY?!" but when I looked at it from an artists/musicians perspective it's an HORRIBLE feeling to go unknown when someone that doesn't do art of music use your creation as a representation without your knowledge believe me I HATE that if the music was to my distaste but for someone to see this piece of art with an amazing piece of music I would NOT mind at all also this video has been veiwed over 25,000 times....

THINK ABOUT IT....People come to listen to a Flying Lotus track and then they see THIS amazing piece of work and it MATCHES THE MUSIC...MINDS WERE BLOWN IN THAT VIDEO people kept on asking about it....EVEN THE UPLOADER SAID "It's not mine but it's SICK THOUGH!

Like I felt she didn't even listen to the song she just saw her art and got instantly upset....if you people know me if I'm in a situation that angers me I sorta take the time to observe why this is going on to get a big picture. For Bittersweet to say "I WILL REMOVE MY PICTURE FROM MY GALLERY" just pinched a nerve with me too like you make art to make yourself happy and to make others happy and to do that is like saying "Here you can look at it but just know IT'S MINE...no one can have it"

NO ONE CAN DRAW LIKE YOU!!!! People can duplicate but not replicate!!!

Anyways....Now 's followers are yelling "ART THIEF" "REPORTED",etc. other childish things and they didn't even listen to the song (obviously)


Like I've been doing music for 17 out of the 21 years I've been living and I've never seen such a dramatic firestorm over this...THE UPLOADER CLEARLY DID NOT CLAIM THE ART AS HIS OWN AND HE GAVE CREDIT TO FLYING LOTUS.

Bittersweet I know you took the "Nip it in the bud" approach but it's very EASY to come of as "Unprofessional" if you go that way.

My suggestion on the best way that this could've been handled was that you  took the time to send the uploader a message saying how YOU are the artist that drew that pic and how you didn't approve of what the uploader did instead of leaving all kinds of negativity through the comments this wouldn't be going on right now if the uploader didn't respond with in 2-3 days THEN post a angry comment.

Also that comment made you look bad as an person behind the art like for situations like these you should've had a nicer tone in your comment or at least said something positive saying "Thank you for thinking my art matched the music BUT..." OR SOMETHING....
